Care instructions
Scarves:
To care for your new scarf, dry clean or hand-wash in cold water with a drop of mild soap. Rinse, and blot dry with a soft towel. If you see a little color run in the water, don’t be alarmed! While a color setting process has been used, there is sometimes a small residual dye that still escapes during subsequent washings.
If you have or would like a smooth effect for your scarf:
When silk is just slightly damp, iron by placing a cloth over the scarf and ironing on the iron’s cotton setting.
If you have or would like a crunchy effect for your scarf:
When silk is just slightly damp, tightly twist the scarf. Allow it to dry in this fashion. If it is too loose or tight in certain areas, lay it out on a towel, and lightly spray water on it. Shape it as you want.
For a much looser/softer crunch, simply allow the damp scarf to air dry (or use a blow dryer)..
Pillows:
You can unzip the silk painted pillow cover and take out the pillow insert. The pillow cover can be cared for in the same manner described above for the scarves.
Challah Covers:
Challah covers are taken care of in the same manner as scarves.
